Case study: Floating Harbor syndrome and / or Pellitier-Leisti syndrome
There are fewer than 50 cases of Floating-Harbor Syndrome reported in the medical literature. Its cause is unknown. Most cases are sporadic, but some are hereditary, autosomal dominant transmission. The syndrome presents as typical phenotype the triangular face with a prominent nose. Low stature and delay in expressive language acquisition are commonly described. Also some anomalies regarding dental development and some cases of celiac disease. Early puberty are commonly described. There are some instances of intellectual impairment (mild), but the same is not perceived in all cases. This presentation intends to report on the case of psychotherapy follow-up of a young child presenting this syndrome. Psychotherapeutic treatment began at age of 6 in 2012 until 2017. The description will be of this psychological follow-up with the patient, family, school and colleagues in other areas that also treated the case. Psychometric assessments of intelligence have been made during all these years and will also be presented.

Case Study: West Syndrome - The mother-child relationship
The present clinical case study aims to demonstrate the psychotherapeutic intervention on a child diagnosed neuropediatrically with West Syndrome from 4 to 8 years old. Complementary to the neurological diagnosis, the boy in question presented a series of stereotyped and repetitive behaviors that pointed to autistic spectrum dynamics.Being followed by a multiprofessional team (neuropediatrician, speech therapist, physiotherapist and occupational therapist) in a child clinical rehabilitation centre, psychotherapy became part of the treatment due to the dynamics presented. The psychotherapy acted on the clinical picture mainly through play therapy (Ludoterapia), psychotherapeutic and family guidance (family orientation) of the mother. . The mother-child relationship was dependent and such dynamic was acting negatively on the child's development, accentuating the delay in neuropsychomotor development. Together with the family orientation, the mother became a fundamental part to obtain improvements in the global behavioral picture and independence of her child. From the psychoanalytic referential will reflect the intervention on the dynamics mother and child and the possibilities that this referential provides for child psychotherapy.
